1. Overview
Finovest.co.in respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users and contributors to do the same. This DMCA Policy describes how to report alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and similar provisions.
Although the DMCA is a United States law, this policy is adopted as a standardized process for handling copyright complaints related to content appearing on Finovest.co.in.
2. Reporting Copyright Infringement
If a copyright owner or an authorized agent believes that material available on Finovest.co.in infringes their copyright, they may submit a written notice that includes the following information:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of such works.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to permit Finovest to locate the material (such as specific URLs).
- Contact information for the complaining party, including name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that the complaining party has a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Notices of alleged infringement should be sent to admin@finovest.co.in with the subject line “DMCA Notice”.
3. Response to DMCA Notices
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, Finovest may:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
- Notify the user or contributor who posted the material, when identifiable.
- Take appropriate action regarding repeat infringers, which may include limiting or terminating their ability to contribute content.
4. Counter-Notification
If a user believes that material removed or disabled as a result of a DMCA notice is not infringing, or that they have authorization to use the content, they may send a counter-notification with sufficient detail to admin@finovest.co.in. Finovest may restore the material in accordance with applicable law and standard DMCA procedures where appropriate.
